How we test
The testing of anti-viruses by VirusInfo is powered by free online scanner VirusTotal.
Project participants, being practising specialists in the area of
computer security, are uploading at VirusTotal the malicious software
that they have received from infected machines, and then publish the
results of scanning in a special topic on VirusInfo forum. The
malicious software should meet the following requirements:
1) The sample should not be detected by the anti-virus software that protects the infected machine.
2) The sample should be found by the consultant him/herself in a real infection case.
3) The sample should not be taken from some other site or from some other collection of malware.

3. after it completes, re-enable self-defense module (disabled in step 1.)

年節假期長，網路族上網時間大增，當發現你的MSN居然不受控制，主動傳送不明連結或是檔案給聯絡人，小心可能是密碼遭綁架！專家呼籲這時候要儘快更換密碼並掃毒，避免帳號密碼再度淪陷，讓災情擴大。(陳奕華報導)
MSN即時通使用廣泛，不管是傳遞訊息、寄送檔案或者分享影音，成為目前主要的通訊方式之一，但是不少人曾遇過，在不知情的情況下，MSN居然主動傳不明網址給聯絡人，小心！很可能情況可能是MSN中毒了！
台灣微軟產品經理羅廷儀說表示，這可能是使用者的密碼遭有心人士綁架，一旦發生這種情況，第一步要趕緊更新密碼，可以延緩它時間，第二步就趕快就是掃毒程式把惡意程式清除，避免帳號再度淪陷。
「第一個時間你趕快去更換你的密碼，因為它等於是綁架你的密碼，所以第一時間如果你趕快去更改你的密碼，這個問題應該可以解決，第二個它可能已經有一個程式植入你的電腦，你要趕快把它掃掉，如果它程式還在你的電腦裡面，還是會再度把你的密碼找取出來。」
另
外，MSN主動傳不明檔案，可能是使用者的電腦程式被木馬入侵，才會去抓取聯絡人資料，透過即時通的管道散佈，如果出現這種狀況，專家建議還是要盡速掃毒
移除惡意程式，提醒使用者，如果接收到朋友傳來連結與檔案，最好先主動詢問，不要冒然點選，否族可能會在不知情中毒，讓個人MSN也成為惡意連結網址的散
佈者。
